Winston Tabb served as Sheridan Dean of University Libraries, Archives & Museums, 2002-2023. As such, he oversaw the creation of the Brody Learning Commons and Frary Library in DC, the construction of the Library Services Center at APL, and major renovation of the George Peabody Library. He also chaired the Library Directors Council, comprising heads of the libraries serving the East Baltimore schools, Peabody, SAIS and APL. Tabb’s special professional focus is intellectual property and freedom of access to information – for 20 years he chaired the library delegation to the World Intellectual Property Organisation in Geneva.
